  • Goals of the Film Technician Program

    At CCAC, we want to make an impact in the Pittsburgh film community. We aim to:

    • Train film technicians for jobs on film sets with family sustaining wages
    • Provide the workforce portion of the requirements of the 2015 Milken Report for development of a sustainable film industry in Pittsburgh
    • Diversify the local filmmaking workforce by training a diverse (ethnic and socioeconomic) student population
    • Make direct links between union-seasoned crew and our students
    • Prepare students to use the tools and computer programs they will see in the industry.
