• ITS  Colleague Service Requests

     

    Requests for reports and mailing lists for students or faculty should be sent to the ITS ServiceDesk. The ServiceDesk will issue a work order which will be used to track your request to its resolution. The Operations Center tries to provide a short turn-around time, but some requests require additional programming or research. You will be contacted as soon as possible if your request will need additional time or resources to complete.

    All requests will be evaluated to ensure lists comply with CCAC guidelines and federal regulations regarding unsolicited mail and privacy standards.

    Service Requests for Standard Reports

    Reports will be sent via email. 

    To expedite your Report Request, we will need the following information:

    • Purpose/Justification
    • Specific Criteria (Program codes, graduates, GPA, credits complete, class sections, etc.)
    • Campus/Location (Please specify if data should be pulled using student home location, course section location or financial aid location)
    • Year/Term(s)
    • Information/fields to include in the output (Protected data such as birth date and SSN are not provided without prior approval from the Registrar Department and ITS)
    • Should locations, terms, etc. be combined into one run or separate runs
    • Sort Order (Alpha, Zip, Program Code)
    • Delivery Options (Saved-list, Excel file, Bulk Mail formatted, etc.)
    • Where to send list (Bulk Mail, email requestor, etc.)
    • Date Needed (Standard processing time is 3 working days)

    Service Requests for Mailing Lists

    Mailing lists of various types can be provided (saved-list, Excel file, etc.), whether for department use or in conjunction with the Allegheny Bulk Mail Center. Lists can be delivered electronically in several different file formats. Bulk mailing lists are generated in Microsoft Excel format and emailed to Bulk Mail Center personnel.

    To request a bulk mailing, please do the following:

    • Contact Bulk Mail Center (x2612) at Allegheny Campus to determine if mail services are available for your request.
    • Once you have been informed that services are available for your request, send a request for a bulk mailing list. Please provide as much information as possible.

    For Mailing List Requests, please review the following information:

    • The Operations Center will provide an Excel spreadsheet that can be used to produce mailing labels using the Avery 5160 label format.
    • The Operations Center does not create or provide labels.
    • The individual department is responsible for purchasing the labels and performing the mail merge process to produce the labels.

    Please allow a minimum of 3 working days to process this request

     
    Mail List Service Request for both student and employee. Email should have the following information:
