PITTSBURGH—Pennsylvania State Senator Wayne D. Fontana will sponsor a free Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) Financial Aid Education Day at CCAC–Allegheny Campus from 10:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, January 26. A representative of PHEAA will explain to students and their families what financial aid opportunities are available and which resources can assist in obtaining them.

“Now is the time many junior and senior high school students are exploring options for continuing their education,” said Fontana. “As the vice chair for PHEAA, I understand the importance of higher education and the challenges of affording a quality education. This free seminar will provide important information to students and parents on how to access financial aid for post-secondary education.”

The event will be hosted at the Foerster Student Service Center Auditorium, CCAC–Allegheny Campus, 808 Ridge Avenue, Pittsburgh (North Shore), 15212. RSVP to Keith Wehner, kwehner@pasenate.com or 412.331.1208.
