PITTSBURGH—In an effort to showcase its educational programs and opportunities, the Community College of Allegheny County is hosting a free enrollment open house at all eight of its locations Saturday, July 12 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. for prospective students and their families. Information regarding CCAC’s academic programs, admissions and enrollment procedures, financial aid options, transfer and career opportunities and college services, sports, clubs and other activities will be provided. In addition, CCAC staff will be on hand to answer both general and specific questions about CCAC, the college experience and college life.

Individuals who bring their high school diploma, college transcripts or GED will be able to enroll and register for CCAC classes during the open house. CCAC staff will assist these individuals with same-day placement testing and orientation. CCAC personnel will also conduct tours of the facilities as well as offer a support session for parents and families. Refreshments, entertainment and gift giveaways will also be provided.
