• Northwest Region Programs

    The Public Safety Institute established a presence in the Northwest Region of Pennsylvania in the late 1990s/2000 with an office located in Sharon, Pennsylvania (Mercer County) in the Sharon Regional Medical Center. In addition to Mercer County, the PSI Northwest Region serves Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Forest, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango, and Warren counties. Training is currently being offered in EMR, EMT, and AEMT (see schedule below) with a new AEMT to Paramedic program slated for fall 2018.

    CCAC and Sharon Regional Medical Center are partnering to offer a new satellite Paramedic program at the Sharon, PA facility. The Paramedic program will provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to be eligible to obtain National Registry certification as paramedics. Applicants must be at minimum certified EMTs. See the Paramedic Course Packet andSchedule  for information and dates. Contact Jennifer LaDue for more information.
