At CCAC, we believe that life outside the classroom is an important part of your college experience. Each CCAC campus has a variety of activities to enhance your lifestyle – including athletics, cultural events and personal development seminars.
The CCAC Educational
Foundation is the fundraising and benefactor arm of the college. It seeks to
create vital connections between the college and the wider community
to ensure the ongoing viability of the college.
The Public Safety Institute established a presence in the
Northwest Region of Pennsylvania in the late 1990s/2000 with an
office located in Sharon, Pennsylvania (Mercer County) in the
Sharon Regional Medical Center. In addition to Mercer County, the
PSI Northwest Region serves Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Forest,
Lawrence, Mercer, Venango, and Warren counties. Training is
currently being offered in EMR, EMT, and AEMT (see schedule below)
with a new AEMT to Paramedic program slated for fall 2018.
AEMT to Paramedic The Community College of Allegheny County and Sharon
Regional Medical Center are partnering to offer a new satellite
program for advanced emergency medical technicians (AEMTs) to
