The Community College of Allegheny County provides a supportive and transformative learning environment that prepares graduates to meet critical needs in the region’s workforce.
At CCAC, we believe that life outside the classroom is an important part of your college experience. Each CCAC campus has a variety of activities to enhance your lifestyle – including athletics, cultural events and personal development seminars.
The CCAC Educational
Foundation is the fundraising and benefactor arm of the college. It seeks to
create vital connections between the college and the wider community
to ensure the ongoing viability of the college.
CCAC'S Nursing Home Administrator Program is one of the finest
programs of its kind in the state. Originally approved in
1994, it has been in continuous operation since that time.
This program combines a faculty of the highest distinction with
convenience, economy, and instructional excellence.
Each of the 16 instructional modules has been meticulously
prepared to ensure complete and easy-to -follow coverage of all
topics on the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania licensing
examination. The modules meet the 120 hour classroom
education requirement and are also ideal for fulfilling the state's
continuing education requirements for license renewal. The
state also requires an administrative work experience supervised by
a licensed nursing home administrator.
