The CCAC Educational
Foundation is the fundraising and benefactor arm of the college. It seeks to
create vital connections between the college and the wider community
to ensure the ongoing viability of the college.
The Perkins Grant's core service providers are the Student
Support Specialists. These are staff members who specialize in
helping Career & Technical Education students succeed
academically by providing the following services:
Student Support Specialist can also connect students to other
existing college resources such as Job Placement& Career
Services, Counseling, Financial Aid, Supportive Services,
Advisement and the Learning Center.
Who can use these
To qualify for services, students must be enrolled in a Career
& Technical Education program.

Upon request by a faculty member, Student Support Specialists
can provide in-class workshops on study skills, time management and
other student success strategies.
Due to federal grant guidelines, the Perkins Grant staff members
cannot assist students with developmental coursework. The Perkins
Grant does not provide funds directly to students, but instead
funds a variety of programs designed to help CTE students
