The Community College of Allegheny County provides a supportive and transformative learning environment that prepares graduates to meet critical needs in the region’s workforce.
At CCAC, we believe that life outside the classroom is an important part of your college experience. Each CCAC campus has a variety of activities to enhance your lifestyle – including athletics, cultural events and personal development seminars.
The CCAC Educational
Foundation is the fundraising and benefactor arm of the college. It seeks to
create vital connections between the college and the wider community
to ensure the ongoing viability of the college.
Set among 212 rolling acres in West Mifflin, CCAC's South Campus
serves Allegheny County's southern communities and the Mon Valley
region. The campus is located off PA Route 885 not far from Century
III Mall and is easily accessed by both PA Route 51 and PA Turnpike
43 as well as by public transportation.
The South Campus moved to its current six-story, comprehensive
educational facility in 1973. Its buildings, built over a number of
years, house lecture halls, traditional classrooms, technology
rooms, a learning assistance center, full library, theater, radio
station, dining areas and office space. The grounds surrounding the
campus are picturesque and provide walkways and trails for students
and community members to enjoy the outdoors. In addition, the
campus has a library, learning assistance center, media center,
computer centers and state-of-the-art allied health and nursing
laboratories. The campus also has community education offices, a
gymnasium, a fully-equipped fitness center and computer classrooms.
All of the facilities can be accessed from any one of the buildings
by using the indoor walkways.View the CCAC South Campus Energy Project.
