The Community College of Allegheny County provides a supportive and transformative learning environment that prepares graduates to meet critical needs in the region’s workforce.
At CCAC, we believe that life outside the classroom is an important part of your college experience. Each CCAC campus has a variety of activities to enhance your lifestyle – including athletics, cultural events and personal development seminars.
The CCAC Educational
Foundation is the fundraising and benefactor arm of the college. It seeks to
create vital connections between the college and the wider community
to ensure the ongoing viability of the college.
CCAC’s campuses and centers offer many opportunities for students of all backgrounds and identities to explore career paths, reflect on experiences, and adjust to life in college. The Office of Institutional Diversity & Inclusion collaborates with the offices of Student Life, Job Placement & Career Services, Counseling, and the Perkins Grant to present events and longer-term programs.
Two major projects, the Men of Merit Initiative and its partner, Women on a Mission, have expanded to nearly all parts of the CCAC community and continue to provide an important outlet for students. Find out how to get involved and the specifics of these student programs using the menu at left.
Campus Diversity Officers are faculty representatives who assist with diversity initiatives at each of the campuses and serve as points of contact with students on a day-to-day basis.
