Department: PHY Physics
This is a course for students majoring in the
engineering technologies. Topics may include force, work, rate, momentum,
resistance, power, energy, force transformers, energy converters, transducers,
vibrations and waves, time constants, hydrostatics and hydrodynamics and
radiation. Physical concepts are developed through applications of the four
principle energy forms (mechanical, fluidal, electrical and thermal). Everyday
applications are examined in the laboratory.
